Cardross Golf Club

Cardross Golf Club is a gem nestled in the heart of the West of Scotland, steeped in history since its founding in 1895. The course layout has been thoughtfully enhanced by the legendary James Braid, with his design recommendations coming to life in 1921. Golfers are greeted by generous undulating fairways flanked by majestic deciduous trees, creating a stunning backdrop that adds to the overall experience. It's interesting to note that the course often plays longer than its yardage would suggest, providing a delightful challenge for players of all levels.

The clubhouse exudes warmth and welcomes all who visit, perfect for relaxing after a day on the links. With excellent catering options and a well-stocked Professional's shop, they strive to make every visit enjoyable for our guests. They wholeheartedly invite visitors and societies to join them for a round at one of the finest inland parkland golf courses in the region.

The Pro Shop is expertly managed by Robert Farrell and his wife Vicki. Since April 1994, Robert has been dedicated to enhancing the golfing experience at Cardross. As a Class AA (t) Professional, he plays a vital role in mentoring young assistants as they embark on their paths to becoming fully qualified PGA professionals. Known for his approachable nature and expertise, Robert offers coaching that caters to everyone—from youngsters picking up a club for the first time to seasoned players seeking to refine their skills. They pride themselves on fostering a friendly environment where everyone can improve and enjoy the game together.
